Villarreal Visit Holmes Park In Premier League International Cup Action Tonight

- Villarreal visit Holmes Park to face Leicester City's Development Squad on Wednesday (7pm kick-off)
- City's youngsters are yet to play in the Premier League International Cup, while Villarreal have been beaten twice
- The Foxes' 10-match unbeaten run was ended by Blackburn Rovers in Premier League 2 Division 1 last week
- Tickets will be available to buy on the night from the ticket sales point at Holmes Park from 5:30pm 

On the same evening as the first team's Carabao Cup Quarter-Final at Everton, City's Under-23s return to Whetstone after suffering their first defeat in 12 matches at Blackburn Rovers last week.

Last term, victories over Sparta Prague and Feyenoord booked a place in the last-eight for Leicester's youngsters, who were defeated on penalties by Bayern Munich in March.

Villarreal also fell at the quarter-finals stage to Southampton, but El Submarino Amarillo have already lost twice in Group A, to Dinamo Zagreb and Arsenal, in 2019/20.

Due to City's involvement in the Leasing.com Trophy, they are yet to play in the Premier League International Cup with their ties against Arsenal and Zagreb scheduled to take place in January.

The Foxes will travel to Meadow Park on Friday 17 January, 2020 (7pm kick-off) to face the Gunners, while Zagreb are due at Holmes Park on Monday 27 January, 2020 (7pm kick-off).

Tickets will be available to purchase on the evening of Wednesday's fixture against Villarreal from 5:30pm at the ticket sales point at Holmes Park, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for concessions. 

Due to a clash in fixture date with Leicester City's tie at Everton on Wednesday, unfortunately there will be no live LCFC TV coverage of the encounter at Holmes Park.
