Four Former Foxes To Star On LCFC Radio's Semi-Final Coverage

- Leicester City host Aston Villa for a Carabao Cup Semi-Final first leg tie at King Power Stadium on Wednesday (8pm kick-off)
- Matt Elliott, Gerry Taggart, Tony Cottee and Richard Stearman are part of the LCFC Radio matchday team
- The Pre-Match Pint begins at 5pm, followed by Matchday Live from 7pm on Wednesday
- All programming is free to air, while pre and post-match coverage is available on social media

The Foxes welcome Dean Smith's Villa side to King Power Stadium on Wednesday for the first of two encounters to decide who reaches the Wembley showpiece final.

From 5pm on Wednesday, supporters are invited to tune in for free as the Pre-Match Pint goes live on LCFC Radio, starring host Lewis Mason alongside Taggart, Cottee and Stearman.

Taggart and Cottee starred for the Foxes on their run to winning the competition in 2000, while Stearman is an Academy graduate who now plays for Sheffield United in the Premier League.

Over the course of two hours, the quintet will analyse the threats Villa could pose, share memories of League Cup campaigns gone by and assess City's excellent 2019/20 season to date.

There will also be time for music and the popular Punny Old Game quiz, which tests the panelists to create a starting XI of footballers based around a topical theme.

With an hour to go until kick-off, meanwhile, Matchday Live takes over with presenter Dan Bates being joined by Elliott, the brace-scoring hero of 2000, and commentator John Dunn.

The pre-match show will include a more forensic preview of the tie and the thoughts from both camps, while live in-play coverage and post-match reaction is also available.
