Primary School Teachers Invited To Leicester City in the Community CPD Webinars

- Leicester City in the Community are to host a series of Premier League Primary Stars webinars
- Each webinar will include special guest experts in the area of primary PE
- Primary school teachers can opt to join any session by Thursday 14 May
- Each teacher that attends will get a certificate of attendance, resource pack with lesson ideas and contact details of Primary Stars coaches

As part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme offer, Leicester City in the Community aim to upskill teachers by providing an expert insight into what high-quality PE looks like.

The support teachers get from Leicester City in the Community CPDs helps increase their confidence to plan, deliver and reflect on the PE lessons their classes participate in. 

To stay connected during the ongoing situation, we are hosting six online teacher CPD webinars and discuss topics such as; themed PE lessons, cross curricular innovation, arrival activities and many more.

Leicester City in the Community look to help children learn and enjoy physical activity, by providing innovative and creative scenarios, whereby the teacher can adapt and differentiate to suit all abilities and needs. 

The following webinar dates and titles available are:

- Webinar 1 - Tuesday 19 May, 2020 - Leicester City in the Community, Premier League Primary Stars and the Football Association, 10am-11am

- Webinar 2 - Tuesday 2 June, 2020 - Cross-curricular and physical active learning lessons, 10am-11am

- Webinar 3 - Tuesday 9 June, 2020 - Applying values through the PE national curriculum, 10am-11am

- Webinar 4 - Tuesday 16 June, 2020 - Lesson plans, 10am-11am

- Webinar 5 - Tuesday 23 June, 2020 - PE for all – Differentiating in PE, 10am-11am

- Webinar 6 - Tuesday 30 June, 2020 - Making PE fun with themes, 10am-11:30am  

Each webinar can hold up to 50 people and, within each session, a special guest expert in the subject of primary school PE will contribute.

Each teacher that attends will receive a certificate of attendance, resource pack with lesson ideas and contact details of Primary Stars coaches, if you wish to discuss things or would like further support on a one-to-one basis.
