The Foxes head into the fixture on the back of three consecutive Premier League victories - over West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Manchester City - initially putting them top of the table

David Moyes' Hammers, meanwhile, have had a mixed opening to the 2020/21 campaign, but notably defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 last weekend.

Speaking to the national and international media on Friday afternoon, the City manager highlighted some of the threats at West Ham's disposal ahead of a 12pm kick-off on Sunday.

"The boys, since the first game, have been very positive," he said. "We’ve scored goals, defensively we’ve been very good, and we’re looking to get three points from the next game.

"I’m very confident that the longer David and his staff are there, then the more they will grow. David is a proven manager. Alan [Irvine] and Stu [Pearce] are fantastic coaches.

Cengiz Ünder Trains With The Foxes!

A first look at new Fox Cengiz Ünder as he trained with the squad ahead of Sunday's Premier League game against West Ham.

"Once they can get their teeth into a consistent group and get that organisation and template of how they work, West Ham will continue to grow.

"They played very well in the game against Arsenal, they were difficult to beat, and it was unfortunate. They had speed on the counter attack against Wolves, it was a fantastic result.

"Wolves don’t concede many goals so to win 4-0 is a huge shot of confidence for them. They’ll come to us with a plan and they’ve got threat which we need to be ready for."

Leicester have utilised several different tactical stratagems over the early weeks of the new season and that flexibility has been particularly pleasing for Rodgers.

"That’s the beauty of our work," the Northern Irishman added, elaborating on the work which goes into match planning. "It’s important to be able to play in different ways.

Mendy Wary Of Hammers Confidence

Foxes midfielder Papy Mendy spoke to LCFC TV ahead of Sunday's Premier League game against West Ham United at King Power Stadium.

"We’re a very aggressive team, a very attacking team, and of course that depends on the opponent, but it’s nice to have the possibilities.

"We’ve shown in the first game we can really press the game and dominate the game and get our goals. In the second game, there was lots of fight, aggression and strength.

"And then, the game against Man City, it’s all about deciding where you deny the space. When you’re playing against any team, taking away any technical talk about football, it’s all about denying space.

"For us, our tactic was to deny them space a little bit deeper and then break through their pressure, but West Ham’s a different opponent.

"We’ll analyse that and hopefully we can continue a good start."
