Hannah Cain's first Leicester City goal secured victory in the Foxes' last home fixture.

City will be back on home turf for the first time since defeating Crystal Palace Women 1-0 in February, a result secured courtesy of Hannah Cain's first goal in Leicester colours.

The fixture also provided a full debut for forward Shannon O'Brien, signed from Coventry in January, and she could come up against her former Club for the first time on Sunday.

The 19-year-old will look to add to her tally after netting a brace in the 7-0 hammering of London Bees at The Hive Stadium three weeks ago. City's record in front of goal is the best in the division, having plundered 46 goals in 16 league fixtures so far this campaign.

Former Sheffield United midfielder Beth Merrick moved to the then FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division side in January 2019. An England Under-19s forward, Merrick previously progressed through the ranks at Aston Villa, where she made her senior debut at the age of 16.

Now an integral part of United's squad, her first half hat-trick against Durham in December took her seasonal goal tally to four - more than any other Coventry player.

United forward Amber Hughes is an experienced and long serving member of Coventry side who helped to secure promotion into the second tier at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

She found the net twice to help the Red and Green Girls to a 3-2 victory against Charlton in October after being joint top goalscorer in 2019/20, netting five times in her 14 league appearances.

United's recent home victory over London City Lionesses was their first triumph in 11 Championship games.

Jay Bradford's side secured a third league victory of the season in their last home fixture, beating high-flying London City Lionesses 1-0 thanks to Hayley Crackle's stunning long-range strike.

It was the club's first Championship win since October and their first clean sheet of the campaign, but was followed by a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Liverpool at Prenton Park two weeks ago.

United are currently 10th in the standings, having garnered 10 points from their 16 fixtures to date, with a trip to face Blackburn Rovers Ladies coming up on Sunday 4 April (2pm kick-off).
