- Scotland drew 1-1 with Ukraine before being defeated by Spain
The LCFC Women midfielder came off the bench in the 77th minute, replacing Missy Bo Kearns, after the Liverpool star netted a hat-trick to put the Young Lionesses in a commanding position.
Ruby Grant also scored three in the friendly, while Taylor Hinds’ brace and further goals from Emma Harries, Gabrielle George and Katie Robinson completed the rout.
It was Pike’s second cap for the Under-23s side managed by Mo Marley and the 23-year-old will now join back up with her Leicester team-mates ahead of Sunday’s clash with Manchester United.
In qualifying for the FIFA Women’s World Cup, meanwhile, Sophie Howard played twice for Scotland as they secured a point from Group B fixtures against Ukraine and Spain.
The defender came on as a half-time substitute, for Jen Beattie, before Abi Harrison scored an injury-time equaliser to cancel out Roksolana Kravchuk opener and earn a 1-1 draw at Hampden Park on Friday evening.
Howard then played from start to finish in Tuesday’s encounter with Spain at Estadio de La Cartuja. The Scots suffered an 8-0 defeat to remain second in the pool, with 10 points from five matches, five behind leaders Spain.
