Back on home soil for the first time in three weeks, LCFC Women are looking to put in a positive performance that will translate to points on the board when they take on the Red Devils this Sunday afternoon.

Bott, who hasn't started either of their last away trips to Brighton & Hove Albion or West Ham United due to a calf injury, spoke about the rollercoaster start the Foxes have had to the season, outlining that the squad are fully behind Amandine Miquel's vision.

"I think we've definitely had an up and down start to the season," the New Zealand international admitted. "Amandine [Miquel] has brought in a different style of play for us, but one that we are keen to take under our wing.

All smiles at Belvoir Drive.

"It's been tough but we've had some great performances and I think we are definitely on the up and we know what we need to work on from game to game.

"We're feeling stronger at the back and that's a testament to what Amandine has brought in since arriving. It's something we wanted to change from last season and you can see we're a strong backline.

"It's been good that we've stayed relatively consistent over the last couple of years and that's been helpful to build those relationships and chemistry. Hopefully we can start transitioning that success to the top of the pitch as well.

"As footballers, we want to win, that's why we're here, so it's difficult to be struggling at the moment but we all have the long-term goal in mind so we know what we're setting out to achieve and I think what Amandine has brought here is something really positive that everyone is buying into."

Also in the studio was Nevin, who was asked about the unfortunate injuries that have affected the squad's attacking prowess. She believes this hasn't added additional pressure to the defence, but instead galvanised them.

With another tough test fast approaching, the Australian defender shared that Leicester have been working hard at Belvoir Drive this week in order to put on a good display on Filbert Way when Marc Skinner's side arrive for the fixture.

"There's no additional pressure," Nevin stated. "Obviously you want to do everything you can to help the team and each week and each game it's important to step up and give your all.

"This week, we've really worked hard on what we want to achieve in this game. Coming up against Man Utd, they're a really good squad, and I think we've had good training sessions to get what we want out of this game."
