Leicester vs. Norwich – Essential Supporter Information
The Foxes, who defeated the Canaries at Carrow Road earlier this season, are the hosts in the first match of the Club's 138th year. Ahead of that encounter, LCFC.com has all the details you'll need before heading to Filbert Way or following from home wherever you may be...
Who's starring on LCFC Radio?
Gerry Taggart
Ex-City defender Gerry Taggart will be providing his expert views as part of LCFC Radio's Matchday Live coverage this weekend.
Supporters can follow how all the action unfolds – for free - with Matchday Live, starting at 1:30pm as presenter Dan Bates speaks to former Foxes defender Gerry Taggart to preview the clash in a one-and-a-half-hour pre-match show that will also include contributions from another City legend, co-commentator Matt Elliott.
Then, from approximately 2:50pm, Elliott will join Chris Parrott in the King Power Stadium press box to bring you minute-by-minute commentary of proceedings, throwing back to the studio at half-time and for 30 minutes after the conclusion of the match to dissect the key talking points.
While the Blue Army can tune-in to the pre and post-match coverage across @LCFC social media, in-play commentary is exclusively housed on the LCFC.com Match Centre.
How do I get match ready?
King Power Stadium
Those aged 18 years or over must have a valid NHS COVID Pass, or an alternative proof of a negative test result, to gain entry into the stadium.
Due to new COVID-19 regulations, supporters aged 18 and over will be required to complete and sign an online pre-registration form (valid for the season) to show they have understood and agree to updated conditions of entry. These require all adult supporters to have certification that demonstrates they are any one of the following:
- Fully vaccinated (currently a full course of vaccination without the need for a booster);
- Able to provide evidence of a negative lateral flow test in the 48 hours preceding the event;
- Eligible for medical exemption
This means that those aged 18 years or over must have a valid NHS COVID Pass, or an alternative proof of a negative test result, to gain entry into the stadium.
In addition to the requirement for supporters to pre-register, the Club is required to conduct COVID-19 certification spot checks at turnstiles, to ensure supporters are adhering to the requirements of the UK Government’s Autumn/Winter Plan B. It is therefore advised that supporters arrive early to allow time for these checks to take place prior to kick-off.
Supporters that fail to pre-register or provide appropriate COVID certification on request risk being refused entry and tickets will not be refunded.
