The action continues for the Foxes, whose focus returns to the WSL, after starting their Women's League Cup group stage with a point against Bristol City at Pirelli Stadium on Wednesday evening.

In the build-up to the weekend, here's what City's Manager had to say about the fixture...

A busy week

Talking about the importance of workload.

Preparing for their third game this week, Miquel discusses how her and her coaching staff have been staying on top of the training and recovery regime, to make sure everyone stays fit and available for this weekend's test against Palace.

She explained: "We're trying to do as much as we can during every training session and make sure that the workload is the same for everyone so that the players who played less midweek will train more.

"The idea is that the players we have available in the squad are all ready for the next game, and that they all have the same workload and they are fit enough to start if needed."

Crystal Palace are also looking for their first WSL win of the season.

Sunday's opposition, newly-promoted Palace, arrive to Filbert Way also in search of their first WSL win. Looking to turn positive performances into points, Miquel doesn't see Sunday's clash as a easy one, understanding the threat that last year's Barclays Women's Championship winners will bring.

"I think every team pose a threat and that's why I came to England," the Manager continued. "We can see that from playing Bristol City who are in the Championship but still a very good team.

"Every team has good potential so you need to make sure when you get on the pitch that you're more ready than they are and put in the performance needed to get the win, which is what we're working on."

Getting three points

Building a project.

Heading into a fourth game in charge, Miquel was asked if this weekend was a perfect opportunity to get her first competitive win as Leicester Manager, but she refrained from looking at it that way, wanting to avoid applying extra pressure onto the players and instead focus on the long-term project.

"It will be good to get three points at some point," the Manager voiced. "But I don't think you have to focus on a special day to do this because that puts people under pressure.

"We have time, there's 20 games left in the WSL so there's no rush of when you have to do things. In the end, of course you need to have a certain amount of points, but right now I want to focus on the content and getting the players to understand what we're doing here."
