Leicester City Development Squad midfielder Wanya Marcal-Madivadua has been nominated for January’s Premier League 2 Player of the Month award.

The youngster netted twice for the Foxes in January – scoring the winning goal in league games against both Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United.
Against the Seagulls, he took aim from a tight angle and saw an unstoppable strike find the roof of the net via the crossbar late on, while at West Ham he raced towards goal and slotted a neat finish beyond the goalkeeper in the final minute of normal time.
A total of eight players have been nominated for the award, with the winner to be announced via the Premier League’s website and the PL Youth Twitter page.
