Ashleigh Plumptre and Jemma Purfield have both been shortlisted for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ February Player of the Month award following their performances against Birmingham City and West Ham United.

Having started the month with a crucial 2-1 victory over the Blues at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium, LCFC Women went on to double the month’s points tally with a dominant display against the Hammers at Pirelli Stadium.
Purfield scored directly from a corner in the win at Birmingham, before assisting fellow defender Plumptre's goal during the 3-0 success vs. West Ham. Both helped to keep a clean sheet against the in-form east London outfit.
Achieving consecutive Barclays FA Women’s Super League victories for the first time in the Club’s history, those results saw the Foxes climb two places in the league table.
