McAteer Nearing A Return, Says Maresca

- Kasey McAteer could appear for the Foxes at Rotherham United
- City's next Sky Bet Championship challenge comes on Saturday
- Dennis Praet is not expected to be included in the matchday squad
Leicester City are looking for a fifth win in a row after a Club-record start to the new season, securing three successive victories in the league alongside a Carabao Cup success at Burton Albion.
McAteer has missed City’s last two wins – at Huddersfield Town and against Cardiff City at home – but has trained this week. The Foxes head to AESSEAL New York Stadium on Saturday to take on Rotherham in the 3pm kick-off.
Intense Session Preps Foxes For Rotherham Trip
Leicester City gear up for the weekend's trip to Rotherham United with more intense work at LCFC Training Ground.
Enzo Maresca told reporters on Friday: “He has worked with us the last few days, so that’s very good. He’s fit or almost fit so it’s good.”
Dennis Praet, however, is not yet ready to return.
“He is still injured,” Maresca explained. “It looks like a muscle problem.”
The Manager also said that there are currently no other concerns in his squad at present.
