Vardy, 37, has not been involved for City since late November but is close to making his return to a matchday squad after joining group training earlier this month.

Elsewhere, Dewsbury-Hall, 25, is still feeling the effects of the challenge which led to the Academy graduate hitting a penalty in last Saturday's 3-1 reverse at Coventry City. Leicester's No.22 will be assessed in Seagrave this week.

The Foxes welcome Ipswich Town to King Power Stadium in the Sky Bet Championship on Monday (8pm kick-off).

"Jamie is back," the Manager told the media on Thursday. "He’s full training now with us so it’s better.

"The only one that is out since Coventry is Kiernan because of the foul he received for the penalty. He had a problem with that and he is not training with us. Hopefully we’ll see for the Monday game but at the moment he is out."
