Following Harry Winks' late winner at Queens Park Rangers, City were back home to face Leeds United, who were chasing promotion themselves, at King Power Stadium on Friday 3 November. A lone second half goal from Whites forward Georginio Rutter sent the Yorkshire club on their way to three points.
Unfortunately for City, losing just once in 14 games turned into three losses in 16 as they were on the receiving end of a 1-0 reverse at Middlesborough's Riverside Stadium a week later. Sam Greenwood's free-kick found the net with less than 10 minutes left on the clock to stun Leicester once more.
Two weeks later, normal service resumed on Filbert Way with a 2-0 win over Watford. Jamie Vardy was inevitably the hero, scoring two late goals, including an injury-time penalty, which saw the hosts get back to winning ways.
The final game of November saw Leicester held to a single point at Hillsborough after they drew 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday. Abdul Fatawu put the Foxes in front before a 93rd minute equaliser from Jeff Hendrick earned the Owls a vital point in their survival bid. A disappointing month compared to others, but top spot still belonged to Leicester - the Tractor Boys were one point behind.
