Loan Watch: Wins For Souttar, Cover & Young

The Australian centre-back played 90 minutes at Bramall Lane, his 11th league appearance this term. Facing Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park this weekend, Chris Wilder’s men sit fourth in the table, one point outside the top two.
Tom Cannon also started on the opposing side, playing the first half for the Potters, who are down in 19th and turn attention to the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, travelling to Southampton (7:45pm kick-off).

The Australian centre-back has been a solid defensive option for the Blades.
After appearing in a 1-0 away triumph at Harrogate Town four days earlier, Brandon Cover netted in Port Vale 3-2 victory over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday. Opening the scoring at Vale Park, it keeps the Valiants top of Sky Bet League 2, ahead of breaking from league action to face Barnsley in the FA Cup.
Chris Popov was an unused substitute as AFC Barrow drew 1-1 with Notts County at Holker Street, remaining in League 2 play-off contention, one point outside of the top seven.
Hosting Doncaster Rovers in the FA Cup on Saturday, it’s back to league action against Colchester United a week later (both 3pm kick-offs).
Over in Scotland, Sammy Braybrooke was a second-half substitute as Dundee lost 2-1 at home to St. Johnstone on Saturday. One goal up at the break, the hosts were unable to take anything from the game, and now lie eighth in the Scottish Premiership, on nine points from nine games, with Celtic their opponents on Wednesday night (7:45pm kick-off).
Brad Young kept a clean sheet in Hartlepool United’s 2-0 success over Aldershot Town in the Vanarama National League on Saturday, extending their unbeaten run to four league games prior to taking on York City this weekend.
