PL2 Preview: Swansea Head To Holmes Park
Steve Beaglehole’s Under-23s sit fifth in the Premier League 2 Division 1 standings following the 1-1 draw with Tottenham Hotspur in Enfield earlier this month.
Here are five things you need to know…
Last time out
The Foxes continued their positive start to the 2017/18 campaign after recording a 1-1 draw with Tottenham at Hotspur Way on Friday 13 October.

City deservedly took the lead with 10 minutes of the first period to play. A fine move down the left saw Connor Wood (above) deliver into Sam Hughes, who was on hand to head home.
With 65 minutes on the clock, Samuel Shashoua collected the ball inside the box and, while Max Bramley did well to turn away his first effort, he couldn’t keep out the second strike.
Swansea in focus
The Swans will be targeting their third win in Premier League 2 as they face the Foxes at Holmes Park this week.
“We are very pleased with recent performances,” Under-23s head coach Gary Richards told Swansea's official website.
Confidence in the squad is high but we must stay focused and not get carried away with recent results.

“We produced a very good performance to beat Chelsea and we need to make sure we continue to be competitive in the league this season.

Hughes buoyed by Foxes form
Defender Hughes reflected positively on his side’s most recent two performances, a 3-1 victory at Barnsley and a 1-1 draw at Spurs.
Versatile Hughes Happy With Goal
Sam Hughes, who played in both midfield and defence against Tottenham Hotspur, was delighted to get on the scoresheet at Hotspur Way.
On the Spurs result, he said: “The goal gave us a boost and we were a lot better in the second half. Our shape and organisation was a lot better, so it was good to get a goal.
“The times I’ve been playing centre midfield, I’m playing that little bit of a deeper role, especially from corners – I want to try and get myself in the box and try and get on the end of things."
Beaglehole on City’s resilience
Under-23s manager Beaglehole has seen a lot to be pleased with from his young squad so far this season.
“We weren’t at our best, but to come here and not be at our best, not get beat and deserved to win, you’ve got to give the players a pat on the back,” he told LCFC TV at Spurs.
Beaglehole Praises Resilience On Display At Spurs
Steve Beaglehole was pleased to see his side pick up a point after a tough week.
“Their attitude, mentality and the winning streak that they’ve had are all good habits. If you can’t win, then don’t get beat.
“Whatever you say about Tottenham, they’ve got some very talented players.”
