The Algeria international signed a four-year deal with the Foxes on Sunday after joining from Ligue 1 outfit AS Monaco for an undisclosed fee.
The Club’s fifth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Danny Ward, Ricardo Pereira, Jonny Evans and James Maddison, Ghezzal says he is now eager to get started ahead of a debut campaign in the Premier League.
Ghezzal Keen To Shine
New arrival Rachid Ghezzal spoke to LCFC TV after he signed for the Club.
Speaking exclusively to LCFC TV, he said: “I’m very excited and I’m very happy to be here. The first team coach (Claude Puel) wanted me.
“I want to be here. It’s a good club with many ambitions and many great players. I think I will make a great season.”
Ghezzal worked with City boss Claude Puel while at French outfit Lyon, where the Algerian honed his skills as an exciting winger.

“I was very young when he coached Lyon,” he continued. “He took me for the first team one game in pre-season and after I came back with the young players.
“I know the coach and I know his work and I like it.”
Having featured four times in the UEFA Champions League last term for Monaco, the 26-year-old went on to outline his own ambitions with Leicester City.

“I hope to score many goals and many assists to help the team,” said Ghezzal.
“I can play everywhere in front of the attack. I like and feel better when I play on the right side.
