- Leicester City will celebrate Leicester Pride 2018 on Saturday 1 September
- Rainbow flags will be displayed ahead of Leicester City’s game against Liverpool
- A LCFC market stall will be set up at the festival site in Victoria Park
- The Club would like to wish all of its supporters and Foxes Pride a fantastic Leicester Pride Weekend
LCFC Community Trust will display a rainbow flag on the pitch at King Power Stadium ahead of City’s game against Liverpool (12:30pm BST kick-off).
There will also be rainbow flags on show during the game via the in-stadium screens, as well as in the Foxes Fanstore.
This is the third year in a row that City have supported Leicester Pride and the Club will once again have a presence at the event.
An LCFC market stall will be set up in Victoria Park, and the Club’s mascot, Filbert Fox, will also take part in the day’s festivities.
This season, Leicester City coaches have been helping local LGBT football club, Leicester Wildecats, prepare to play in the GFSN National League Division 2.
The coaches will continue to assist the team with regular training sessions throughout the year.
Leicester Pride is Leicester’s annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) festival, held at the beginning of September each year.
The event is free to attend and celebrates equality and diversity in the community.
The parade begins at 12 noon and passes through the city centre on its way to the festival site at Victoria Park.
