On Saturday, the Foxes make the 150-mile trip to Turf Moor to face Sean Dyche’s Burnley in the hope of recording back-to-back wins in England’s top flight.

Maddison, who teed up Jamie Vardy for his first goal of the game against the Cottagers last time out, believes City are riding a wave of optimism under manager Brendan Rodgers.

"We want the next game to come as quickly as possible, especially after a good performance,” Maddison told LCFC TV. “We’ll recover, we’ll rest-up and we’ll get back to training again.

Maddison Pleased With Rodgers Impact

Foxes midfielder James Maddison talks to LCFC TV after his side's 3-1 victory over Fulham in the Premier League...

“The more we work with the gaffer on the pitch, the more we’re going to see his style and his philosophy come into action on the field.

“We look forward to that and there’s a real good feel good factor around the Club at the minute, so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.”

Maddison, during his debut season in the Premier League, has now played a role in 11 goals for the Foxes, scoring five times and assisting a further six following the win against Fulham.

“I think it’s a victory we fully deserved, I think we dominated the game,” said the No.10 of that game.

“Their goal, we’ll have a look back at it and see what we could have done better, but I think for the majority, the better team got the three points.

“In the first half, I think we played some brilliant stuff, we dominated the game and we came out worthy winners.”
