Farrow made an instant impact from the bench to score City's third, after earlier efforts from Natasha Flint and Paige Bailey-Gayle, at Farley Way Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

As a result, the Foxes rose to the summit in the table for the first time in LCFC Women's history, but Farrow says they will remain grounded as they look to strengthen their position at the top.

"It’s a really positive result," the ex-Reading striker said. "When it comes to international breaks, obviously we’ve had a few weeks with no game, so it’s really good to get a win on the first game back.

It’s important for us that we try to get three points in every game, really, with the goal being promotion. We take every game as it comes. We don’t underestimate any opposition.

"It was a great performance from the team today. It’s exactly what we’re looking for: win after win after win and three points after three points after three points.

"It’s important for us that we try to get three points in every game, really, with the goal being promotion. We take every game as it comes. We don’t underestimate any opposition."

The dominant nature of City's performance was also pleasing for Farrow, with the home side creating several opportunities in Quorn.

"I think we’ve done a great job here today," the 24-year-old added, reflecting on the significance of LCFC Women reaching top spot in the league standings.

"We won’t be complacent. It’s a long season, so anything can happen, but it’s definitely nice to sit at the top now. This season was always going to be the season which defined that.

"It’s a really positive thing for the Club, for Jonathan and everyone involved. I’m really enjoying myself. It’s a different challenge. I’ve really got into it, though, so hopefully it’s onwards and upwards."
