Players are continually monitored academically, with continuous liaison with schools including six-week reports for players and parents to monitor grade progress, behaviour and attitude to learning.
Educational facilities, with tutor specific-support for English, Maths and Science, are provided on a daily basis during our curriculum programme for day-release players.
For those who are accepted onto our scholarship programme at 16-years-old, education plays a key role in the development of each individual. Players’ academic capabilities are assessed and support mechanisms are put in place to follow a learning pathway suitable to each individual’s needs.
Loughborough College, with a rich experience of delivering elite sports programmes, delivers our League Football Education programme, encompassing NVQ in Sporting Excellence and BTEC National Diploma in Sports Performance & Excellence - including key skills – Maths and English.
